Can distributors, manufacturers or representatives attend Alabama Black Expo? Yes, distributors and/ or manufacturers are allowed at the Alabama Black Expo. Please see Vendor Rate Card. Can students attend the Alabama Black Expo? Yes, students may attend. The Alabama Black expo is a family event and is open to everyone. Alabama Black Expo is open to all types of talented individuals ready to share their creativity with the world. Do school instructors receive free admission? For every ten (10) student passes purchased, Alabama Black Expo will provide the instructor with two (2) complimentary Alabama Black Expo tradeshow passes. May I bring a rolling cart? Rolling bags are permitted. However, bag check will be strictly enforced. Before entering the exhibitor hall, bags must be completely checked. If your bag is full and you wish to re-enter, your bag must be re-checked. Do I need to pre-register for the workshops? Complimentary workshops are included with your tradeshow pass and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. May I bring a camera? Yes, you may bring your camera and cell phone. Please enjoy yourself and remember to tag us at @alabamablackexpo or @everythinglifebrings What should I wear? Clothing should be comfortable. If you are a Vendor we suggest wearing business casual clothing and comfortable shoes. Be sure to pack some comfortable shoes if you plan to walk around. What if I require special assistance at the show? No, if attending the show with friends in the tradeshow, be sure to set a specific time and place to meet. What am I required to bring with me? Bring your show pass, plenty of business cards. The Alabama Black Expo is a time for networking. Is smoking allowed at the show? No, smoking is prohibited from the premises. How do I get photos from the show? Please check with the Alabama Black Expo Tradeshow booth for photographer contact information. Where do I acquire a Press Pass? Please go to the Become Involved Tab and complete the Press Pass application and an Alabama Black Expo representative will contact you. Where do I pay for my admission? You have the option to make payment online. Our Early Bird specials are available until 60 days prior to Expo. You also have the option to pay on site at the Alabama Black Expo Registration Booth. Please keep in mind that all registrations purchased on or prior to 60 days before Expo are considered early bird or Advanced Registration and are cheaper. Online Purchases: When purchasing online, the Registration is immediate and your information is secure for your entry on the day(s) of the show you purchased. Just provide the emailed or texted code on your smartphone or printed when you arrive at the Alabama Black Expo Registration Booth. If you do not have this available, we can look for your purchase in the database on site. If the ticket has not been purchased, you will be allowed to purchase it at the registration booth. Can I buy a voucher from a sales representative for admissions? Yes. There are many representatives selling passes to the Alabama Black Expo. Visit the Attendees page for a complete list. Will I have to purchase a pass for my model? No. If you are a Designer in the Alabama Black Expo your model will receive complimentary entry. Please visit the appropriate registration desk for your model to receive the their stamp for entry. Do friends and family have to purchase a ticket to see me in the show? What is the fee? Yes. Friends and family will have to purchase a pass to see you in the show. If you anticipate that they will want to view, please encourage them to take advantage of the early bird prices available. Will I be allowed to eat at the expo? Will there be food nearby? Yes, there will be food sample vendors. If you are in the shows the types of food that will be available may be too heavy to consume during the check-in or prep time for the shows. The time flow while in the expo is planned and has specifics involved. If you have light snacks (crackers, chips, nuts) your models can be consumed quickly away from your station as sanitary issues are in play when servicing your model. What is the process for my company to sponsor the expo? Alabama Black Expo has a sponsorship prospectus that can be emailed to any company that is interested in being a sponsor. Please email Alabama Black Expo at email@example.com Will the complimentary pass that my model receives allow him/her to get into any night events? No, this hand stamp is for use in and out of the exhibit floor during the daytime only. The hours are 10am until 9pm. You may purchase admission in the registration booth. Will Vendors have a separate check in desk to prevent delays? Yes, there will be a desk labeled Vendors as you enter the registration booth area. Please bring your confirmation information to this booth. How do I become a vendor at the show? Seasonally Alabama Black Expo has a need to hire additional employees to handle the load of impending shows. These needs are usually handles through a connected temporary service. How do I get my show pass if I purchase it online? Your code will be emailed to the email address you provided when creating your account. You will reveal the code via phone or printed out at the Alabama Black Expo Registration Booth check-in area. What should I do if I lose my wristband? All Sales are Final. You will be required to purchase another wristband to gain entrance into the show. Are refunds available if I purchase my show pass but am not able to attend? All sales are final, there are no refunds. In extreme weather situations, a credit for the next show will be given. Requests for credits must be submitted within 15 days prior to the show or within 15 days after the show. How do I become a model for your Beauty shows? How often do you have the need for models for trade shows? We have the need models 1 time a year during the expo/ tradeshow. Do you do sponsorships? We do not do sponsorships.
